TERRORISM
Most common definitions of terrorism include only those acts which are intended to create fear or terror; we can also say that terrorism is a crime that most people feared of. It is an unlawful use of violence to frighten people or accomplish a goal, often for political reasons.
The main problem now is that many countries are having war as the solution for terrorism; the war between the different countries around us affects us. Of course we are affected because many people / places are being destroyed and maybe the terrorist are also planning to sabotage our country. Terrorism in the Philippines is being conducted by militant Islamic groups; they are killing people for them to fight for their religious beliefs. Based on the writings of their bible “the Koran” it says there that Muslims should “Strive hard against the unbelievers and the Hypocrites, and be firm against them.
Suicide bombing is very common for terrorists, so that the military or the police investigators can‘t find an evidence whose group did that bombing .Hostage taking or kidnapping is also a common crime that the terrorist usually does because they really give terror to his/ her relatives or even in the people who is attached to the victim.
Many people today are suffering and dying because of those terrorists. They are so good; they plan all their tactics very well. Our government is being occupied with debates on how to stop terrorism, but still they can’t find the answer; even they found a solution still it doesn’t work well. In our economics world, businesses avoid places being targeted by the terrorists so that they know that their business is safe.
In other countries people are also finding some ways to solve terrorism. In United States they say that we have gadgets, we have technology, why don’t we use them, so that’s why anti-terrorist means eliminating all terrorists/ or fighting them because it’s the only way we could do. The Department of Defense also suggests that we should eliminate collective social stress. No collective stress means no tension between the United States and other countries in terms of religious groups, and insurgents. United states also recognize the most dangerous terrorists and they planned not to motivate them to find war as their only chance to spread their religion. Suicide bombers are the most sinful crime because you are not only killing yourself but everyone around you.
I believe that we can’t do anything to stop war, in and out of our country. The only possible way to stop terrorism is that there should be only one religion that we should believe in, but before we can have that one religion, there will be a great fight and those that are left behind will be the ones spreading that their religion will be the religion of all the people in this Earth. I know this solution is impossible, but it will be someday. Our government should do something to prevent terrorism, I know they are doing their best, but their best wasn’t good enough. One of the solutions I thought about in Bombing is that we need a scanner in all malls just like the ones we see in airports. It can detect guns, bombs and any gadget that can kill because inspection of bag is very disturbing and not 100% sure that a person has a gun or a bomb. What if that person hid his gun/bomb in the secret pocket of his bag and the security did not notice it. Many people will suffer and die. Hostage taking is very common nowadays so we need more protection. Even inside our house is not safe anymore. I got news from a friend that there is this family that is murdered inside their house. I blame the guard of their subdivision because he is not doing his responsibility. I suggest we need more trained security guards in every subdivision there is or for more protection we need seminars for parents that lets their children play outside their house. Sometimes terror is also important to us because it serves us a wake up call and without it, how would we know if we need to act or do something to protect our family.

I don't agree on what you said that: "The only possible way to stop terrorism is that there should be only one religion that we should believe in" (5th paragraph, 2nd sentence), because even though that we have different religion, the god that each religion believe in is still the same.
Religion is not only the main root of the terrorism but there are more of it.
3rd paragraph: 3rd Sentence:
" In our economics world, businesses avoid places being targeted by the terrorists so that they know that their business is safe. "
spell check:
- economics world; should be economic world
- by the terrorists; or by terrorists
I certainly do agree with the ideas of the article, except for the single idea of the big war and having only one religion.
Well, first of all, a religion does not only pose as a basis for one's faith. It is also a determinant of one's relevent idealisms in life. Although the difference in religion can often lead to disagreements(and even violence), it is a natural effect of human behaviour to have different insights in subject matters relevant to social interactions in life.
Even if all other religions would be obliterated(leaving only one for all mankind to embrace), The mere life and methods of its forthcoming religion would be far from the idea of "real" peace.
Wherein the only way to prevent the sprouting of new idealisms and faiths in a new world, is to eliminate the people starting it. Which is quite ironic. To have a world of peace, a single race must reign supreme and eliminate all existing oppositions, and also the establishing one's?? c'mon.
To live in a world such as that is like living in a world without free will. Besides, if this "new" civilization would produce the same intellectuals(scholars, archieologists, etc.). Then, it wouldnt be too soon until they find the remains of the lost religions and its ideas(artifacts, manuscripts, bibles, etc.). If these scholars would embrace the more "comfortable" ways of the lost civilization, then the process, or in this case, the cycle of starting another phase in the "new" civilization, would be very very similar to that of the lost one. Transforming the world built through violence and holocaust, back to its original state of divided idealisms and faith.
Therefore, the "big" war would be just a waste of lives, resources, knowledge, and time. Because eventually, this world they changed, would revert its people and its ways, to its previous state.

i would just like to start my comment with a sentence that i read in your post a while ago: "I know this solution is impossible, but it will be someday."
-this is a minor grammatical error; how should something be impossible if it already is impossible? you probably meant that "I know this is impossible, but it will be doable/possible someday.
you said:"Our government should do something to prevent terrorism, I know they are doing their best, but their best wasn’t good enough."-i don't think so. i believe our government is doing much effort in solving these kinds of problems. (just commenting)
"I suggest we need more trained security guards in every subdivision there is or for more protection we need seminars for parents that lets their children play outside their house."- i agree. in our highschool days, out CAT training is more grueling than those of bodyguards. and take note, we are just students compared to those so-called bodyguards(na kadalasan ay tulog or umiiinom ng kape)
your proposal of having ONE religion is nearly impossible and very violent indeed. your solution requires gallons of blood or pools of blood to be shed. but once done, there will bee peace on earth(hopefully)
Include the terrorists of the society like bullies, addicts, or people who terrorize us. Terrorism is not only triggered by religion differences or quarrels but by othher factors as well. So the "one religion" solution can not be just it to solve the puzzle even if the one religion soultion happen.
Good work!!
Here are my comments:
~ no indentions!
~"Suicide bombing...." - is this a new paragraph?? Because, if it is, it has no indention.
~ "In our economics world.." - 3rd paragraph, it should be economic.
~ In the 4th paragraph, your point of view suddenly changes. 1st you are talking as Iriz then suddenly you became one of the United States.
~ In the last paragraph, the topics are all mixed up.
---That's all.,
Your paragraphs was well made, but i agree with peter, i also disagree on what you have said on having 1 religion. The world can still have peace even if all of us have different religion.
i trembled as i read your solution to terrorism as having a BIG war and having one religion left to rule our spiritual lives. i believe that BIG war isn't enough to wipe out inequalities among us.
I agree on "The only possible way to stop terrorism is that there should be only one religion that we should believe in" if the case is we should the holy wars.
you have dicussed definitely many solutions,I agree to most of them like implementing strict security, having those gadgets to detect bombers...
what seemed impossible is obtaning one religion, I think it can never happen now or ever because different races have different beliefs..
the content is fine, but there's a couple of grammatic errors. same as what others noticed.
Your post was well made, but I agree with Peter and Allen, I also disagree on what you have said on having one religion.
Because even though we have different religion in this world its not the basis of having conflicts with the other religions. We can still have peace in this world.
"I know this solution is impossible, but it will be someday."
The sentence kind of negates its own meaning there. It could have been like "I know this solution can't be done now, but someday it will be."
Grammatical errors aside, your work is nice, but I have to agree with Peter. Religion may be a cause of terrorism, but abolishing all religion and leaving one can't be a solution.
One of the solutions I thought about in Bombing is that we need a scanner in all malls just like the ones we see in airports.
Yes, this can be very good solution, but I think that the rapid increase in technological advancements also increases the capabilities of the terrorists to avoid the detection of their firearms and explosives.
You really have a very high ambition, don't you think? I mean that, your proposed solutions are just nearly impossible. About having one religion in the whole world. Well, yes, there is still this slight chance that it might happen, but it still inevitable. You might want to just rephrase that proposal. How about: "..making the world believe that all of religions are intertwined to each other. That all of the Gods in every religion is just the same with the other religions."?
And about having more tight security. It's not because we lack guards. We lack funds! We don't have enough money for the gadgets nor enough money to pay the salary for the guards in a high-security basis.
Sorry for arguing with you in this.
good luck.
I agree with this article, except for the "one religion" bit... I don't think that'll really make things any better. And although there are a few grammatical errors, the content is fine.
