Terrorism is a problem that the world is dealing right now. There are many different opinions on how we can solve this problem but so far the methods that we are using are not working as we plan it.
Terrorists attacks in different ways. They often do bombings in public places that can do the most harm. They tend to do this kind of things to get the attention of the government so that they can get what they want from them. Terrorists can be fearless at times. They are not afraid to hurt anyone that opposes them. Their thinking is just based on what they believe and they won't let anyone stop them.
Fighting against the terrorist isn't working out well for the government. They are wasting the lives of the person that they are sending to fight the terrorist. We must think of a new way to deal with them. I think that we should try to negotiate with the terrorists. There must be something that they are fighting for that we must understand to solve this problem. We must do the first action to solve the problem of terrorism. We must reach out and talk to the terrorist without bearing arms with them. We should just talk and settle our differences with them.
Terrorism isn't something that you would do because you like it. They are just doing it because they are fighting for something that they believe. They are fighting for something and we must know that to fully understand their motive. This can be a step in solving the problem.

You've done a great job on your proposed solution but you lack a lot of information about your topic; terrorism. You shoud've described it better and some more examples of terrorism internationally and nationally would be better. A little bit more in researching and this will be in great shape.
good luck.
Amazing! Your solutions and opinions were almost the same as mine. But you missed something and that is you did not relate the problem(terrorism) about the effects.

I do agree with the part pertaining to the purpose of the terrorists. Terrorists are just like everybody else. There's the good guys, the bad guys, and the misunderstood. And when you're misunderstood, no one will listen to you, no one will help you, and eventually you'll have your back against the wall.
I pretty much relate the terrorists to the misunderstood. They don't just kill for no reason at all. They do have a purpose, and most of the time, its a positive purpose(or goal). Its just that they tend to act towards it in a negative matter. Not because they're violent or what, but because they're fed up. They've been battered and beaten by their enemy, and so they become desperate.
But regardless of purpose, no one is fir enough to be beyond the boundaries of law. We must comply to it no matter what burden we carry. And that, is the mistake of our terrorist brothers.
I myself do believe that war is inevitable. But then, it would be great to even lessen the deaths that might happen in the future. But how do we lessen that? I think that negotiation is the key.
Your post was great and your solutions are good too but it lacks information.
Negotiation is not the only way to stop or prevent terrorism.
Kindly provide the effects and other examples of terrorism to make it better and for the readers to relate more to your article/report.
i agree with what you said "They tend to do this kind of things to get the attention of the government so that they can get what they want from them" Terrorist are people who just fight for their belief... i am looking for more solutions and elaboration of the problem... but overall, you did good :D
You did not expound very well your thoughts in terrorism. But it is a good article, all the same. I liked very much your ideas. We should be understanding the beliefs of the terrorists and seeing them as not only, but as people too who have concerns and desires to change the future of the world. It is a step closer to peace.
yes. negotiation is not helpful. terrorist wants war. give them what they want. although, many lives will be lost and wasted.
Chris,
This is a short composition for a problem-solution text. Its laden with opinions less on facts. You may be right in some of your thoughts but these have to be backed up by factual evidence. For example, when you say that "terrorists/or activist groups may have something worthy to say / fight for...that we must sit down and talk to them..." you have to specify what it is that they are fighting for and why you think it is worth the government's time and effort to negotiate.
Also, you may use continue with your current format, that is, the point by point wherein you lay down the problem, then a solution..but remember, that in your final paragraph, you will have to propose your solution be sure not to repeat whatever you have mentioned in the previous paragraphs. You may instead summarize.
